This mascara is a new edition of the cult favorite drugstore mascara Maybelline Great Lash Mascara, which I personally never tried. Honestly the original never really appealed to me, It might be the fact that I really dislike the traditional mascara wand that it has because i'm a big fan of odd mascara wands, which is exactly what attracted me to this mascara......

The mascara wand is "heart shaped" and I really like it because the fat end is really good for my top lashes, while the tapered end is great for the bottom lashes. My absolute favorite thing about this mascara is the wand, it's really quite clever :)
As for the formula... its so-so.......
As you can see this mascara gives me very long lashes. The picture shown above is about two coats, and I have to say I am quite happy with this mascara. However, this mascara flakes like crazy! It will just not stay on my lashes, as gorgeous as it makes me feel, it is not my HG mascara because of all the flakes it causes! Keep in mind that I am using the regular formula, not the waterproof mascara, because I tend to really dislike anything waterproof, most of all mascara!
Overall, I think that this a great mascara to pick up since its affordable ( mine was approx 7.99 at Rite aid) and it doesn't clump and creates a gorgeous false lash effect. However be wary of all the flaking that may occur over a period of a few hours.
